Customers who have shopped at KMS Tools for years are aware of our distinct culture. This culture was influenced by our company founder Stan Pridham in the early years and remains strong today. KMS Tools is Canadian-operated and owned out of British Columbia. The first KMS Tools location opened in Coquitlam in early 1984. The early days were marked by a lot of hard work and a little adversity, including a fire that destroyed almost everything. Today, more than 30 years later, KMS Tools and Equipment has 14 store locations, an e-commerce website kmstools.com, an outside industrial sales team covering many major parts of BC and Alberta, and over 400 employees in Abbotsford, Calgary, Chilliwack, Coquitlam (Home Office), Edmonton, Edmonton South, Grande Prairie, Kamloops, Kelowna, Langley, Nanaimo, Prince George, Red Deer, and Victoria. In addition, KMS Tools operates KMS C.A.R. Parts (Custom and Restoration), KMS Tool Repair, a distribution warehouse in Coquitlam, and an online web fulfillment warehouse in Abbotsford.
